These ADSS suspension grips do not require any tools to install and can be installed directly on the fiber optic cable.
ADSS suspension grips for overhead lines do not require protection rods or side joints and can be installed directly on the fiber optic cable sheath.
However, when the tensile strength is high, spiral ADSS grips with joint protectors should be used to prevent damage to the fiber optic core during use.
In contrast, when the tension is less than 9KN, preformed dead-end suspension grips without protectors can be used, with or without sleeves.
